Successful ESA in Dortmund: Enactus Cologne Impresses with Strong Projects

On March 25, the Enactus Startup Accelerator (ESA) took place at Wilopark in Dortmund, bringing together dedicated teams from all over Germany. The event focused on pitch sessions, discussion, and networking—an ideal opportunity to further develop ideas and gain new perspectives.

Enactus Cologne was also represented with two projects: Rivopump and OpenAdvo. Both teams presented their progress over the past few months and took the chance to get feedback from experts. The direct exchange with other initiatives and experienced mentors provided valuable insights for the next steps.

A special highlight of the event was Rivopump’s pitch. With a compelling presentation and a clearly defined concept, the team won over the jury and secured first place. This success is not only a strong recognition of the work done so far but also an important motivational boost for the challenges ahead.

With new contacts, fresh ideas, and added momentum, the teams are now looking forward to the National Cup in June. The ESA has once again demonstrated the immense potential of student projects—and how crucial exchange within the network is for further unlocking that potential. 🚀
